I am about to seal my driveway and think that in the future I might want to have an Automatic Gate - what should I do now ?

Call us as soon as you can!

You will need an registered electrician to provide a 'powered isolator' for the Gate Automation and install cabling for intercom and other services etc, laid into the ground and this is easier before the driveway is sealed.

It is also important to get the levels of the driveway formed to suit the gates. If you are going to have a pair of swing gates and the opening is 4 metres, you will need to ensure the driveway is perfectly flat and level for the first 2 metres to enable the gates to be mounted close to the ground to minimise the height of the centre gate stop bracket.

If you are going to have a sliding gate now is the time to put the track into the ground.
